TROPICAL CERAS DO BRASIL LTDA. was capitalized by the group of companies that operates in Brazil under the leadership of Casa Marc Jacob, S.A., which was started in the third quarter of the XIX Century, precisely in 1873. To cooperate with the intentions of the Brazilian government to increase the number of industries in the northeast region of Brazil, PVP SOCIEDADE ANÔNIMA was registered with the ambitious program to come to develop in industrial basis the products that up to then were exported as raw products.

PVP made a nice job and did develop many new products, some of them protected by patents already given or under way. In its action to include new industrial products starting from crude botanical raw materials, its program of production begin to show not only the finished ingredients produced from products originally sold as raw materials but new ones added with the passing time, in a way that now the program of production include a list of pharmaceutical, health and cosmetics ingredients and special carbohydrates derivatives from Rhamnose, Sucrose end Glucose. From such accomplishment results a larger volume of sales and research investments in this line of fine chemicals, which recommended the starting of our company to consecrate on the selling of waxes and derivatives.

To start we will profit from the very special industrial facility developed by PVP to process waxes under controlled parameters. This process allow Tropical to produce either yellow grades of carnauba wax or refined grades of fatty gray carnauba with very pale or clear colors, with all or most of all of its constituents better protected due to the controlled temperature established for its operation and processing.

On the years a know how for the production of wax compounds and blends was also accumulated, as well as for the production of waxes’ emulsions, which by starting an independent operation we want to increase throughout our exchange of experiences with our customers – the source of the approval of our efforts and the source of the challenges we expect to have - trying to satisfy their needs and requirements.
