Since many years we pioneered in Brazil, then as PVP, Sociedade Anônima, the production of nonionic Carnauba wax emulsions. The usage of water borne emulsions has become much more interesting to the industrial end users, not only due to the better choice of products available now for their usage, but also because the change in the regulatory limitations to the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC) induce them to a bigger usage of those water borne emulsions.
Now, apart the ability to produce nonionic Carnauba wax emulsions, we are also able to produce anionic Carnauba wax emulsions and nonionic emulsions made with paraffins, Ethylene-Acrylic Acid (EAA), and combined emulsions of some of them.

It is relevant to note that nonionic Carnauba wax emulsions can be mixed, easily with other nonionic emulsions, either of the grades already produced by us or other emulsions made with different polymers. Our emulsions are sold under our Carbin®registered trade mark, followed by the names that indicate the particular grade of the emulsion. Apart the specific end usage which recommend one given grade of emulsion, they may also impart improved slip effect to the product, lubricity, rub resistance, improved release ability, better packaging protection and so forth…
